I've known about this for a while, of course; I consulted with James about folks to approach as new homes for Nobilis. In retrospect, some of the delays on Fires Of Creation came from my worrying that something would go wrong with the necessary deals and leave us stranded.

But they did not go wrong.

Guardians of Order is our new publisher. Color me very happy about this. The folks there clearly know how to put out books that are beautiful to look at as well as good to read and play with; they're among the few companies I felt really comfortable about when it came time to consider possibilities. They love Nobilis, and I have every expectation that they'll treat us right.

Nobilis freelancers, our existing contractual terms are still in effect. You are not getting stiffed, screwed, or otherwise disadvantaged. Now that this is done and my other work is chugging along, Fires Of Creation will go back onto the front burner...very soon. Few days soon. I've been reading the printouts, and man, this is gonna rock.

I'm Back

Okay, that wasn't very soon. This is great stuff, and I'll have posts in the next few days with snippets and explanations of the process of redlining as it applies to Nobilis.

Content! Content!
